BIBLE

We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testament is inspired, inerrant and infallible in the original writings. The sixty-six book of the Bible are the complete and divine revelation of God to man, making the Bible the final authority for faith and life.

GOD

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each co-existing in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem mankind from their sin. Today, He is alive and seated at the right hand of God the Father acting on our behalf as our High Priest.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of its sin and guilt. He regenerates sinners and is in the process of transforming true believers in the image of Jesus Christ. Upon believing in Jesus the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ, the church, and gives gifts to the believer for the edification of the church.

Creation

We believe that God created the heavens and the earth in a period of six days. Each day represented a literal 24 hour period of time. He then rested on the seventh day.

MANKIND

We believe that man was created in the image of God , that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death. As a result, all are separated from God by their sin and are hopeless apart from the salvation found in Jesus Christ alone.

SALVATION

Salvation can only be obtained by believing in the literal death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. One cannot work for his salvation, but only believe in what God did by sending His only Begotten Son as our substitute. Salvation is a gift from God and must be received by faith alone.

THE CHURCH

We believe that the church, which is the body and espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again believers. The establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament. The responsibility of the church is to glorify God and fulfill the Great Commission.

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe in the blessed hope, the personal, imminent return of Christ Who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation period. At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with His saints, to establish His earthly Messianic Kingdom, which was promised to the nation of Israel.

THE ETERNAL STATE

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the believer to eternal life, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.

ORDINANCES

We recognize Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as the Scriptural ordinances of obedience for the church in this age.
